Atlanta, GA. – June 15, 2022 InfoMart, a woman-owned background screening company ranking among the top ten largest in the industry, made an appearance at the WBENC National Conference in Atlanta. A longtime advocate of both supplier diversity and giving back to their community, InfoMart used their sponsorship platform to promote other women-owned businesses and to shine a light on the important work being done by LiveSafe Resources, a local domestic abuse shelter.
As an Atlanta business and a member of the host committee, InfoMart welcomed fellow diverse-owned business and corporate companies driven to improve the diversity of their suppliers. Their founder and Chief Visionary Officer, Tammy Cohen, led the team and focused on helping fellow women business enterprises achieve their goals.
“Getting involved in WBENC has been pivotal to InfoMart’s success,” said Cohen. “It was an honor to serve on the host committee for WBENC’s 25th anniversary and to work closely with other WBEs to give back to our community.”
InfoMart is proud to have hosted an incredible service project during the open reception of the conference. Their team invited fellow attendees to build over 300 amenity kits to donate to victims of sexual assault through LiveSafe Resources. This couldn’t have happened without the generous WBENC-certified sponsors who donated to the cause: Tropical Foods, Painters USA Inc., Personalized Payroll Services, Gojo (makers of Purell), and Accel Inc.
“InfoMart has long been a rock-solid supporter of LiveSafe Resources’ mission to serve victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse,” said Cindy Fennel, Development Director for LiveSafe Resources. “We are so grateful for the creative minds and generous hearts at InfoMart who made this gift happen. These amenity bags will help us provide quality care and comfort to sexual assault victims during one of the most trying times of their lives.”
A leader in pre-employment screening and employee monitoring services, InfoMart brought innovative background screening solutions like continuous criminal monitoring to the conference to help companies of all sizes protect their employees while expanding their fair-chance hiring programs. They used their focus on customer service, their innovative spirit, and over 30 years of experience in the screening industry to educate and build relationships with fellow WBEs and corporate companies.
